A service in Frank Travis’s memory will be held at the Parish Hall in the center of Canterbury, N.H., at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 6. In keeping with his wishes, the service will be simple. We will aim to fill the room with love and celebrate what was a rich and full life. Those who attend will be invited to share their favorite memories of Frank and the many dimensions of his life. Refreshments will be served following the service and those who wish can linger in conversation.
That afternoon, the family will gather again in Swanzey Center, N.H., where a portion of his ashes will be buried with his first wife, Martha Jane Grace, in a cemetery where many other members of his family, including his parents Lewis and Florence Travis, have been laid to rest.
